INGREDIENTS

Keranique Scalp Stimulating Shampoo is designed to gently deep clean and stimulate your scalp. Keratin and panthenol help your hair feel lighter, cleaner and more buoyant. This Shampoo does not use SLS, however, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate (MES) is the second ingredient. MES is used in engine degreasers and is generally considered a gentle cleaner when used in low concentrations. Many studies claim that MES is a carcinogenic because it contains sulfates.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Several reviewers complained about dry hair and breakage, and how this product was ineffective. As far as customer service is concerned, that is where most of the negative reviews were centered on: rude service, not being able to return products and additional charges on customer's credit cards.

GUARANTEE

Keranique only offers a 30-day guarantee.

SUMMARY

For a company to claim to be sulfate free they use several ingredients that contain sulfates in them. If you have thin or damaged hair already you may want to consider a more natural approach to healthy hair.

P.S. While Hair La Vie is the best natural hair shampoo and conditioner we've found, we would still love to hear about any others you've tried. If you have had a great experience of your own, please send me an email at Bianca@ConsumersSurvey.org with the details. We'll check it out and if it looks good, we'll post it on our blog.

Sincerely,

Bianca Thompson
