2020 Buyers Guide: GNC Total Lean CLA

Written by

Total Lean ® CLA comes in at 2nd place, here’s why:

  • Only 2000 mg CLA Per Serving
  • No Artificial Ingredients
  • Multiple Customer Complaints
  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

While Total Lean ® has a strong 2000 mg per serving formula this isn’t the daily recommended amount of 3000 mg. While there weren’t many reviews, when there were, customers complained of ineffectiveness. GNC’s 30-day guarantee doesn’t really offer a chance to truly try the product, and it doesn’t compete with longer guarantees.

INGREDIENTS

Total Lean® delivers CLA in two softgel capsules per day. While it does pack a strong punch of 2000 mg of CLA per dose, it’s not the strongest dose we’ve seen -- Essential Elements Maximum Strength CLA has the daily recommended 3000 mg serving size).

Although the dosage was lower we did like the fact that this product contains no fillers or artificial ingredients.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

GNC is a very large and well-known company, so we were surprised we didn’t see more reviews for this product. Customer reaction seemed to be mixed. Some customers had a very positive reaction to the product. However, many experienced no results to speak of, even after months of use. This is seen most often in products that aren’t potent enough. One mother complained that the product made her tired.

GUARANTEE

GNC has a standard 30-day return and exchange policy. They require you to send all package materials, used/unused product and any receipts or paperwork included to ensure a full refund.

P.S. While Essential Elements is the best CLA supplement we've found, we would still love to hear about any others you've tried. If you have had a great experience of your own, please send me an email at Beverly@ConsumersSurvey.org, and you might see your story on our next survey.

Sincerely,

Beverly Gratson
