INGREDIENTS & EFFECTIVENESS

TruBiotics®, from the makers of One A Day®, contains just two probiotics, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium, as well as hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (a synthetic polymer), yeast extract, and sodium ascorbate (vitamin C).

The probiotic supplement also contains less than 2% of inositol, magnesium stearate, sodium glutamate (MSG), and titanium dioxide for color. The supplement also contains milk. TruBiotics® contains 1.5 billion CFUs.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

All reviewers on the website expressed they had received an incentive in exchange for the review. Many cited an improvement in digestion, less bloating, and no aftertaste, which some had experienced with other probiotics. The sampling of negative reviews mentioned the TruBiotics® were not as effective as other probiotics or constipation following initial use.

GUARANTEE

Unlike many probiotic brands, TruBiotics® has a very limited guarantee, a money-back rebate/guarantee during a 10-month period with completed paperwork from the website.

SUMMARY

TruBiotics® from One A Day® contains just two probiotics, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium. The formula is very low in live culture with only 1.5 Billion CFU. In addition, the probiotic has several additive ingredients, including milk and MSG, which may be contraindicated for users. TriBiotics® also lacks the money back guarantee of most probiotics on the market and is not formulated by a doctor. This is a weak strain of two probiotics and not the best option on the market.

P.S. While 1MD is the best probiotic we've found, we would still love to hear about any others you've tried. If you have had a great experience of your own, please send me an email at Beverly@ConsumersSurvey.org with the details. We'll check it out and if it looks good, we'll post it on our blog.

Sincerely,

Beverly Gratson
