Seeking Health ProBiota 12 is the Consumer Survey #3 Probiotic Supplement. Here’s Why:

  • InTactic acid-stable technology is used so bacteria aren't destroyed in the stomach
  • Provides 25 billion organisms per pill, 50 billion per serving
  • Does not list substrains which means strains could be generic/ineffective
  • Refrigeration recommended to keep product fresher longer, increased risk in losing the integrity and effectiveness of product if not shipped or stored properly
  • Higher price per-daily-dose than competitors
  • Must take 2 capsules every day, in two separate doses
  • Contains some synthetic filler

INGREDIENTS

Seeking Health ProBiota 12 contains 12 diverse probiotic strains that help support your local digestive system. None of the strains have their substrains listed which means the probiotic strains have not been clinically studied and are possibly ineffective. This multispecies, dairy free probiotic has to be taken twice a day. Each pill contains only 25 billion CFUs.

Seeking Health ProBiota 12 requires refrigeration and it is recommended to be shipped with an ice pack that need to be purchase for an additional cost. This is a major red flag because you can never be sure of the potency of this product due unknowing how it has been previous handed.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

There are many positive reviews for Seeking Health ProBiota 12, so many infact, it was hard to find any reviews that were negative. At first glance, they make the brand seem amazing but after digging and researching we found users that felt some of the reviews were skewed or even fake.

One common complaint was the daily dosage and inconvenience of refrigeration.

BRAND GUARANTEE

Seeking Health offers a 60-day refund from date of originally purchased. They put the return postage responsibility on the buyer and recommend insuring the package and obtaining a tracking number because they are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. This isn’t the worst guarantee, but it certainly is not the best.

SUMMARY

All in all this product was not Consumer Survey’s favorite probiotic supplement due to many factors. The first main reason is the red flag of refrigeration. Yes, it is best practice to keep probiotics in a cool dark area. But if a company requires you to keep them cold you cannot be sure it has been handled properly throughout its current lifespan. Other drawbacks include the low CFU count per capsule and the twice a day dosage.

P.S. While Pro45 is the best probiotic supplement we've found, we would still love to hear about any others you've tried. If you have had a great experience of your own, please send me an email at Beverly@ConsumersSurvey.org with the details.

Sincerely,

Beverly Gratson
