Nutri-Health Flora Source® Multi Probiotic® is the Consumer Survey #2 Probiotic Supplement. Here’s Why:
- Contains Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli strains
- Capsules are vegetarian
- Encapsulated by patent protective process, to protect probiotic cells
- Bottle only contains 15-day supply
- Must take 2 capsules every day, in two separate doses
- Higher price per-daily-dose than competitors
- Only one substrain is listed which means other strains could be generic/ineffective
INGREDIENTS
Nutri-Health Flora Source® Multi Probiotic® has several upsides when it comes to their wide range of probiotic strains, which includes several Lactobacilli strains. Out of the 16 strains formulated in the Nutri-Health Multi Probiotic, only one of them is clinically validated with a substrain.
The wide range of probiotic strains come with several drawbacks. This supplement contains 2 synthetic fillers, requires you to take 2 capsule daily and only 16 billion CFUs per serving. However, we are happy to see an all vegetarian capsule and NutraFlora.
Here is the list of their probiotic strains:
Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium breve, B. lactis Bif Relief 24-7TM, Bifidobacterium lactis (infantis), Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus brevis, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus salivarius, Lactococcus lactis, Streptococcus thermophilus.
BRAND GUARANTEE
Nutri-Health Flora Source® Multi Probiotic® return policy give purchasers 180 days to return their empty or unused bottles of supplements. You must have your original invoice and you need to pay for the shipping and handling. We found this to be a solid offer, however several complaints were centered around this policy and many users were not happy with the overall product satisfaction or the customer service.
SUMMARY
This probiotic was Consumer Surveys number 2 pick. It contains an important group of lactobacilli strains that is encapsulated in a specially designed capsules that withstands damage from stomach acid. Unfortunately, only one of the substrains is listed, and it seems like all of the others are generic and possibly ineffective.
Based on our research the user satisfaction was moderate, claiming some positive results with bloating, constipation, and overall improvement in intestinal health. Unsatisfactory reviews include dosage per day, supplements per bottle, price and poor customer service. Most of the reviews said they have not repurchased the product because of the several drawbacks mentioned.

P.S. While Pro45 is the best probiotic supplement we've found, we would still love to hear about any others you've tried. If you have had a great experience of your own, please send me an email at Beverly@ConsumersSurvey.org with the details.
Sincerely,
Beverly Gratson
